Sickness absence
If you’re absent from work because of illness or any other incapacity, you’ll continue to be a member of the Fund while you receive contractual or statutory sick pay. You’ll be required to continue to make your contributions to the Fund at the same rate you were paying before your absence began. In some circumstances (i.e. if you cease receiving pay), the Company, at its discretion may make contributions on your behalf with Trustee agreement.
Maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave
If you’re on ordinary maternity, paternity, adoption or shared parental leave, or any other period of family leave during which you’re being paid by us your contributions (normally via Salary Exchange) will be based on the pay (if any) you’re receiving. Our contribution will be calculated based on the basic salary you’d have received had you not been absent and the Company will make up the difference between your actual contributions and what your contributions would have been had you not been absent.
